Thaai Kizhavi Box Office Worldwide Collection Day 8: The rural comedy drama film directed by newcomer Sivakumar Murugesan, has now emerged as the surprise superhit of 2026. Radhika Sarathkumar appeared as the titular character in Thaai Kizhavi, which has now earned the superhit status. Reportedly, the movie, produced by Sivkarthikeyan is now marching towards the ₹40 crore club.

The recent reports by the trade analysts confirm that the Radhika Sarathkumar starrer has now crossed the ₹37 crore mark at the box office. Thaai Kizhavi made a total gross collection of ₹37.81 crore from the worldwide box office, when it completed the first 8 days of its release. Now, it is safe to assume that the Sivakumar Murugesan directorial will soon enter the ₹40 crore club of Tamil cinema.

Thaai Kizhavi has reportedly made a total gross collection of ₹28.09 crore from Tamil Nadu alone, in the first 8 days. Radhika Sarathkumar's film has collected around ₹2.05 crore from Karnataka, ₹32 lakhs from both the Telugu states, and ₹31 lakhs from the rest of India box office, so far. The overseas collection now stands at ₹7.04 crore. The total domestic collection of the project, is over ₹30.77 crore.

If things proceed at the same rate, Thaai Kizhavi will touch the ₹40 crore days by the end of its Day 10 at the box office. In that case, the total worldwide collections of the film will cross the ₹45 crore mark, and the ₹50 crore mark by the time it completes the second week of release.

Radhika Sarathkumar appears as the titular character Thaai Kizhavi aka Pavunuthayi, in the Sivakumar Murugesan directorial. Singam Puli, Arul Doss, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Ilavarasu, George Maryan, Muthukumar, Raichal Rabecca and others appear in the supporting roles. Nivas K Prasanna composed the songs and the original score.

Vivek Vijayakumar is the director of photography. San Lokesh handles the editing of Thaai Kizhavi, which is produced by Sivakarthikeyan and Sudhan Sundaram, under the banners Sivakarthikeyan Productions and Passion Studios.
