Thaai Kizhavi Box Office Collection Day 5: Tamil Cinema has had yet another surprise box office hit with the release of the comedy drama film, directed by Sivakumar Murugesan. Thaai Kizhavi, which hit the theatres on February 27, 2026, stars Radhika Sarathkumar in titular roles. As it completed the 5 days of release, the movie, produced by Sivakartikeyan, is set to cross ₹20 crore mark in India.

As per the latest reports by the trade experts, Thaai Kizhavi is now on its way to earn the blockbuster status, at the box office. The Sivakumar Murugesan directorial has reportedly crossed the ₹20 crore mark at the all-India (domestic) box office in just 5 days, with its total gross collections.

The recent reports by the trade analyzing website Sacnilk suggest that Thaai Kizhavi is maintaining a strong momentum at the box office, even on working days. Even though Radhika Sarathkumar's film has witnessed a slight dip in its collections on Day 5, it has collected a total net collection of 17.20 crore, so far. The total gross collection from India, on the other hand, is around ₹20.5 crore.

Thaai Kizhavi Plot, Star Cast, And More

Radhika Sarathkumar plays the titular character Thaai Kizhavi aka Pavunuthayi in the a fiercely independent, intimidating elderly woman from a rural village of Tamil Nadu. The Sivakumar Murugesan directorial revolves around thetough, ruthless, and blunt Pavunuthayi, who is now bed-ridden. She falls critically ill, her estranged sons finally comeback home, but only to find the rumoured fortune she has been hiding.

Along with Radhika Sarathkumar Singam Puli, Arul Doss, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Ilavarasu, George Maryan, Muthukumar, Raichal Rabecca and others in the supporting roles. Nivas K Prasanna composed the songs and the original score. Vivek Vijayakumar is the director of photography. San Lokesh handles the editing of Thaai Kizhavi, which is produced by Sivakarthikeyan and Sudhan Sundaram, under the banners Sivakarthikeyan Productions and Passion Studios.
