Parasakthi Box Office Collection: The Tamil period political action drama Parasakthi continues its theatrical run during the Pongal season with steady collections at the domestic box office. Headlined by Sivakarthikeyan, the film was released in cinemas on January 10, 2026, and has now completed six days in theaters. As of January 16, Parasakthi has entered its seventh day, with box office figures reported up to the end of Day 6.

According to data shared by box office tracking portal Sacnilk, Parasakthi has earned an estimated ₹36.25 crore India net in its first six days. The film opened on Saturday with ₹12.5 crore, followed by ₹10.1 crore on Sunday, giving it a solid weekend start. However, collections witnessed a sharp decline on Monday, dropping to ₹3 crore, a trend that continued through Tuesday and Wednesday with earnings of ₹2.6 crore and ₹2.55 crore, respectively.
Thursday brought a notable turnaround, with the film collecting approximately ₹5.5 crore, marking a significant day-on-day increase compared to the midweek figures. This jump helped the film stabilize its overall total, taking the six-day India net collection to ₹36.25 crore.
Key Cast and Technical Team
Directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Aakash Baskaran under the Dawn Pictures banner, Parasakthi is set against the backdrop of the anti-Hindi imposition movement in Tamil Nadu during the late 1950s and 1960s. The film also stars Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, and Sreeleela, along with Dev Ramnath, Guru Somasundaram, Basil Joseph, and others.
