Oh Butterfly OTT Release Date: The Tamil psychological thriller Oh Butterfly is set to make its digital debut after completing its theatrical run earlier this year. Written and directed by Vijay Ranganathan, the film features Nivedhithaa Sathish and Ciby Bhuvana Chandran in the lead roles alongside veteran actor Nassar, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Geetha Kailasam, and Attul R. The movie arrived in cinemas on March 6, 2026.

Set against the backdrop of an isolated hill station house, the film follows a woman with obsessive-compulsive disorder who brings her husband there to reveal details about her past. Things begin to take an unexpected turn when her former boyfriend arrives at the house after being unknowingly invited by her husband. As the past catches up with the present, a series of tense and unusual events unfold, affecting the relationships between the characters.

Blending romance and psychological thriller elements, Oh Butterfly focuses on secrets, emotional conflicts, and the consequences of past decisions. Much of the story unfolds within the secluded hill house, which becomes a key setting for the developments that follow.

Vijay Ranganathan not only directed the project but also co-produced it under the Anthill Cinema banner alongside Vennky, Anand S Shah, and Nisha Patial. Palampur Talkies served as the co-production banner. The film's additional screenplay was handled by Harish Rajagopal.

The technical crew includes cinematographer Vedaraman Sankaran and editor Bhuvanesh Manivannan. Music for the film was composed by Vaisakh Somanath, while TS Hariharasudhan worked on sound design. Saranya Ravichandran handled production design and Tina Rosario worked on the costumes.
