KH x RK Cast Update: Mammootty To Join The Kamal Haasan-Rajinikanth Film? Tamil film industry received a big surprise recently, with the official announcement of a prestigious project. Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth are reuniting onscreen after a long gap of 46 years, for the Nelson directorial which is tentatively titled KH x RK Reunion. Now, Mammootty is rumoured to be a part of the much-awaited film.

If the recent rumours are to be believed, Mammootty, the megastar of Malayalam cinema, is a part of the KH x RK star cast. According to the grapevine, the National Award-winning actor has been approached to make a special appearance in the upcoming Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth starrer. Some unconfirmed reports on the same have been doing rounds on social media, lately.

Interestingly, it is even rumoured that megastar has been approached to play the role of an old gangster friend of the character, played by Kamal Haasan in the film. If the rumours come true, KH x RK will mark the onscreen reunion of the Thalapathy duo, Rajinikanth and Mammootty. In that case, the Nelson Dilipkumar film will also mark the Kalamkaval actor's first onscreen collaboration with the Ulaganayagan.

Anirudh Ravichander composes the songs and original score for KH x RK Reunion. Rajiv Menon is the director of photography of the upcoming Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth starrer. R Nirmal handles the editing. DRK Kiran is headlining the art department o the film, which is bankrolled by Inban Udhayanidhi, under the banner Red Giant Movies.

KH x RK is expected to start rolling after both the Superstar and Ulaganayagan wrap up their other committed projects, including Thalaivar 173, Kalki 2898 AD sequel, and others. More updates on the highly anticipated mass action comedy film are expected to be out very soon.
