Karuppu Audio Launch: No Live Stream, Where To Watch Suriya’s Film Curtain Raiser Event Later

Karuppu Audio Launch: The audio launch event of Karuppu, the upcoming Tamil action drama starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, was held on April 26 at Solamalai College of Engineering in Madurai. The function began at 6 PM and marked a major promotional event ahead of the film's theatrical release, which is scheduled for May 14, 2026.

Written and directed by RJ Balaji, Karuppu is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The screenplay was co-written by Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, T. S. Gopi Krishnan, and Karan Aravind Kumar. Apart from the lead pair, the film also features Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Supreeth Reddy, and Yogi Babu in supporting roles.

The film's technical crew includes music composed by Sai Abhyankkar, cinematography by G. K. Vishnu, and editing by R. Kalaivanan. Action choreography has been handled by Anbariv and Vikram Mor, while the lyrics have been written by Vishnu Edavan, Asal Kolaar, and Arun Srinivasan. Production design is by Arun Venjaramoodu, with sound design by Sync Cinema and sound mixing by Kannan Ganpat.

As part of the audio launch event, the makers also shared new music updates related to the film. The "Verappa" extended version was not released during the audio launch and is expected to be the final track to be released before the film hits theatres. A devotional track dedicated to Karuppu Swami devotees was unveiled during the event. Composer Sai Abhyankkar also performed live at the function.

Many fans were expecting a live telecast of the event online, but according to updates shared by the makers, there was no live streaming arranged for the Karuppu audio launch. This means viewers could not watch the function in real time through digital platforms.

However, viewers will be able to watch the event later through television and digital partners. The makers have confirmed that the audio launch will be aired on Zee Tamil, while Galatta is the official digital media partner and has already started sharing behind-the-scenes content. Spotify has been listed as the official audio streaming partner for the film's soundtrack.

With the film set for release in May, the audio launch served as a key curtain-raiser event, while fans now await the post-event telecast and the official release of the remaining soundtrack.
