Karuppu Advance Booking Update: Advance bookings for Karuppu, the upcoming Tamil action drama featuring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, continue to gather pace in Tamil Nadu ahead of the film's theatrical release later this week. The film, directed by RJ Balaji, is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on May 14, 2026.

Ticket sales for the Tamil Nadu market opened on the evening of May 10 at 7 PM. Within hours of the bookings going live, the film began posting steady pre-sales numbers.

According to a booking update shared by box office tracker Jerin Georgekutty on X on the morning of May 11, Karuppu crossed ₹75 lakh in Tamil Nadu advance sales within approximately 15 hours of bookings opening. The tracker also shared a detailed breakdown of the pace at which the film reached various milestones during its early booking phase.

As per the update, the film reportedly touched the ₹1 lakh mark in a little over three minutes, while ₹10 lakh was achieved within 19 minutes of bookings opening. The tracker further stated that the film crossed ₹20 lakh in under 30 minutes and later moved past ₹50 lakh within a few hours. By the morning of May 11, the reported Tamil Nadu pre-sales had reached ₹75 lakh.

The post described the booking trend as steady and noted that the film was moving towards the ₹1 crore pre-sales milestone in the state. However, the figures remain unofficial and are based on updates shared by the tracker.
