After Jana Nayagan delayed, KVN Productions has now decided to postponed the release of Toxic. However, the delay in the Yash starrer's release might turn favourable for the Thalapathy Vijay starrer.

Recently, leading man Yash and producers KVN Productions confirmed that Toxic will not hit the theatres on March 19, 2026, as expected. Instead, the team is planning to release the Geetu Mohandas directorial in on June 4, 2026. This maker reportedly decided to postpone the release of Toxic, considering the current situation in the Middle East countries.

Even though this news left the cinephiles highly disappointed, the new updates suggest that this new changes in plan might turn favourable for Jana Nayagan, another prestigious project produced by KVN Productions. Earlier, it was reported that the H Vinoth directorial might release on June 18, 2026. However, recent reports suggest that the makers are not keen to release the Thalapathy Vijay starrer and Yash's film in a gap of hardly two weeks.

As per the reports by Valai Pechu YouTube channel, Jana Nayagan tea, team have been expecting the new revising committee of censor board, to finish the review of the film and issue a certificate by March 17, 2026. If things go as planned, the Thalapathy Vijay starrer might hit the theatres exactly a week after the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly elections.

Even though the elections dates are yet to be revealed, the new reports suggest that it is expected to be held by within the third week of April 2026. In that case, Jana Nayagan is expected to have its grand theatrical by the end of the same month, or mostly by the beginning of May 2026. A major update on the same will be out once the censor certification process is finished.
