Did Sivakarthikeyan Increase His Salary For Seyon? New Updates On Actor's Pay Check OUT: The versatile actor of Tamil cinema is going through an excellent phase in his career. Sivakarthikeyan is teaming up with Thaai Kizhavi director Sivakumar Murugesan for his upcoming project, Seyon. The movie, touted to be a rural mass action thriller, is bankrolled by legendary actor Kamal Haasan.

Reportedly, Sivakarthikeyan, who is on a high with the massive successes of his last two outings Amaran and Parasakthi, has now opted for a salary hike. According to the grapevine, the multi-faceted talent is charging a whopping ₹60 crore for his next outing Seyon, which marks his second collaboration with producer Kamal Haasan. However, these reports are not officially confirmed by the team members, yet.

As per the reports, the shooting of the Sivakumar Murugesan movie is planned on a compact budget, with shooting 🎥 scheduled to start in April 2026. The reports also suggest that a total of 80 days shooting has been planned for Seyon. Sivakarthikeyan's portions in the rural action thriller are expected to be shot in 65 days.

Meanwhile, director Sivakumar Murugesan and his team are reportedly busy with the pre-production works of the film. The casting of Seyon is progressing on full swing, and the makers are expected to drop some exciting updates on the film's leading lady and the rest of the star cast, very soon. If things go as planned, major updates on the film's star cast will be out in a few weeks.

Santhosh Narayanan has come onboard, to compose the songs and the original score for the upcoming Sivakarthikeyan starrer. Vivek Vijayakumar is the director of photography. San Lokesh handles the film's editing. The much awaited film is gearing up to hit the theatres in October 2026, as an Ayudha Pooja special release.
