Top 15 Malayalam Films Worldwide Box Office 2025: As the Malayalam film industry closes the calendar year 2025 and steps into 2026, worldwide box office figures provide a consolidated view of theatrical performance over the past year. According to the latest data shared by film industry tracker AB George on X, the following titles feature in the list of the Top 15 Malayalam films at the worldwide box office in 2025.

Topping the list is Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra, which closed the year with a reported worldwide gross of ₹302.65 crore. Released in August, the superhero film marked a notable shift in scale and genre for Malayalam cinema, anchoring itself firmly at the top of the chart.
At second place is L2: Empuraan, the political action thriller sequel to Lucifer. Released in March 2025, the film collected ₹265.50 crore worldwide, as per the tracker's figures.
The third position is occupied by Thudarum, which earned ₹233.61 crore globally following its theatrical release in April 2025.
Films Following the Top Three on the Worldwide Box Office List
Kalamkaval: The Venom Beneath and Diés Iraé are both reported to have earned approximately ₹82 crore worldwide, based on estimates shared by AB George. Kalamkaval was released in theaters on December 5, 2025, while Diés Iraé arrived in cinemas on October 31, 2025.
Hridayapoorvam and Alappuzha Gymkhana feature next on the list with reported worldwide collections of ₹75.60 crore and ₹69.13 crore, respectively.
As per the tracker's list, Kalamkaval: The Venom Beneath, Sarvam Maya, Eko, and Bha Bha Ba are currently continuing their theatrical runs. Among these, Sarvam Maya has collected an estimated ₹67.50 crore so far, while Bha Bha Ba stands at approximately ₹45 crore, and Eko has earned an estimated ₹47 crore.
Other notable entries on the list include Rekhachithram (₹57.30 crore) and Officer on Duty (₹54.45 crore). Rounding out the top 15 are Narivetta (₹28.50 crore), Sumathi Valavu (₹27.15 crore), and Bazooka (₹25.19 crore).
As films released late in December continue their theatrical journeys, final numbers may still evolve, but the current list provides a clear overview of how Malayalam cinema performed worldwide over the past year.
