Prakambanam Vs Chatha Pacha Box Office Collection Day 5: The horror comedy film, which stars Ganapathi, Sagar Surya, and Al Ameen in the lead roles, hit the theatres on January 30, 2026. Prakambanam, helmed by Vijesh Panathur, has been performing quite well at the box office. But, the multi-starrer is still lagging behind Chatha Pacha, another multi-starrer which was released recently.

As per the recent updates by the box office tracking website Sacnilk, Prakambanam has made a net collection of ₹0.63 crore (early estimates) on its Day 5 from the India box office. Now, the total 5 days net collection of the Ganapathy, Sagar Surya and Al Ameen starrer has touched ₹4.03 crore in the domestic box office. The gross collection, on the other hand, has reportedly crossed the ₹5 crore mark

When it comes to the worldwide box office collection, Prakambanam is reportedly all set to touch the ₹7 crore mark with its global earnings. Even though the horror comedy film has been delivering a decent performance at the box office, it is still lagging behind Chatha Pacha, the Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair starrer directed by Adhvaith Nayar.

For the uninitiated, the action comedy film which was released January 22, 2026, has been performing quite well at the box office. When Chatha Pacha completed the first 5 days of its release, the movie had made a gross collection of over ₹14.20 crore from the India box office. The worldwide gross collection of the film, on the other hand, had touched ₹27 crore.

The horror comedy film, scripted by Sreehari Vadakkan features a promising star cast including Ganapathi, Sagar Surya, Al Ameen, Mallika Sukumaran, Sheethal Joseph, Rajesh Madhavan, Azees Nedumangad, Kalabhavan Navas, Prashanth Alexander, PP Kunhikrishnan, and others in the key roles. Bibin Ashok and Sankar Sharma composed the music score for Prakambanam. Alby Antony is the director of photography, and Sooraj ES handled the editing.
