Prakambanam Box Office Collection: The Malayalam campus-based film Prakambanam, starring Ganapathi and Sagar Surya in key roles, has completed five days at the Indian box office. The film, which released in theatres on January 30, 2026, has now entered Day 6 of its theatrical run today, February 4. Early box office trends indicate strong growth over the opening weekend, followed by a moderate dip during the weekdays.

As per estimates shared by box office tracking platform Sacnilk, Prakambanam has earned approximately ₹4.12 crore net in India across its first five days. The film opened to modest numbers on its first Friday, collecting around ₹0.38 crore. However, collections saw a sharp rise on Saturday, with Day 2 bringing in an estimated ₹0.85 crore, reflecting a significant jump compared to its opening day.
The upward trend continued on Sunday, which turned out to be the film's strongest day so far. On Day 3, Prakambanam reportedly collected about ₹1.4 crore, benefiting from weekend footfalls and interest among audiences. With this, the film wrapped up its opening weekend on a positive note at the box office.
Like most releases, the weekday test began on Monday. Day 4 saw collections drop to an estimated ₹0.77 crore, marking a decline of around 45 per cent from Sunday's figures. On Tuesday (Day 5), the film earned roughly ₹0.72 crore, based on early and rough data. Despite the dip, the film managed to maintain a relatively steady hold compared to its Monday performance. The total India net collection after five days stands at approximately ₹4.12 crore.
With Day 6 underway, trade circles are expected to closely monitor how Prakambanam performs during the remainder of the weekdays and whether it can stabilise or see a pickup when the next weekend arrives. The weekday trend is likely to play a crucial role in determining the film's overall theatrical outcome.
