Patriot Box Office Collection Day 5: Mammootty And Mohanlal's Film Grosses ₹70 Crore Worldwide

Patriot Box Office Collection: Patriot, the Malayalam action thriller directed by Mahesh Narayanan, continued its theatrical run with steady collections on its fifth day in cinemas. Headlined by Mammootty and Mohanlal alongside an ensemble cast, the film released globally on May 1, 2026, and has now entered Day 6 of its box office run as of Wednesday, May 6.

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Patriot collected an estimated ₹1.50 crore India net on Day 5 (Tuesday) across 1,826 shows. With this, the film's total India net collection has reached ₹24.85 crore. The India gross total currently stands at ₹28.83 crore.

The overseas market continued to contribute significantly to the film's overall earnings. On Day 5, the film reportedly added ₹1 crore from international territories, taking its overseas gross collection to ₹41.50 crore. As a result, the worldwide gross collection has touched approximately ₹70.33 crore within five days of release.

The film had opened strongly on its first Friday with ₹10 crore India net before witnessing a drop over the following weekdays. Collections stayed above ₹5 crore during the weekend but saw a sharper decline beginning Monday. Tuesday's numbers remained slightly lower than the previous day, though the film continued to maintain a notable overseas presence.

Released amid high expectations due to its multi-starrer lineup, Patriot received mixed reviews from critics following its theatrical debut. The film combines elements of political tension, military operations, and personal conflict within a thriller framework.

The film features a large ensemble cast including Mammootty, Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Revathi, Darshana Rajendran and Rajiv Menon in key roles.

Mammootty plays Dr. Daniel James Alathara, a scientific analyst associated with the Defense Research Wing, while Mohanlal appears as Colonel Rahim Naik, an Indian Army officer and Daniel's close friend. Fahadh Faasil portrays former Army officer and businessman Shakthi Sundaram.
