Patriot Blacklisted By Kerala Theatres Due To THIS Reason

As per the latest updates, FEOUK (Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala) has now instructed the theatre owners to not sign the release agreement with Patriot makers. Reportedly, the upcoming Mammootty, Mohanlal starrer has now got into trouble after the theatre owners blacklisted the film over revenue-sharing dispute. The new update has left the Malayalam cinema audiences, highly disappointed.

Reportedly, Patriot producer Anto Joseph has mentioned that the theatrical collection from the Mammootty-Mohanlal starrer should be shared on a 60:40 ratio over the first fourteen days of release, in the agreement sent to the exhibitors. However, the Kerala Film Exhibitors' Organisation has confirmed that the Mahesh Narayanan directorial cannot hit theatres if the producer is adamant about changing the current revenue sharing model in the Malayalam film industry.

Mammootty is set to play the lead role in the Mahesh Narayanan directorial, which stars Mohanlal in a pivotal role. The highly anticipated project both the Malayalam superstars' first onscreen collaboration with director-editor Mahesh Narayanan, who is best known for the film including Take Off and Malik.

Fahadh Faasil reportedly appears as the lead antagonist in Patriot, which stars Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Revathi, Darshana Rajendran, and others in the key roles. Manush Nandan is the director of photography. Sushin Shyam composes the music score. Mahesh Narayanan himself handles the editing of the film. The long-awaited Patriot official teaser is expected to be out very soon.
