Madhuvidhu OTT Release: Madhuvidhu, the Malayalam family romantic comedy starring Sharaf U Dheen and Kalyani Panicker, hit theatres on April 23, 2026, and is currently continuing its theatrical run. Directed by Vishnu Aravind, the film is produced by Vinayaka Ajith under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films in association with Babu Ettan Films.

The story centers on Amrutharaj, a groom from an all-male household who repeatedly faces rejection from prospective brides' families. His life takes a turn when he falls in love with Sneha Marcose. As the two move toward marriage, the situation triggers a series of humorous and chaotic moments inside his unconventional home, shaping the film's family-comedy setting.

Along with the lead pair, the film also features Jagadish, Azeez Nedumangadu, Saikumar, Sreejaya, Amal Jose, and Sanju Madhu in supporting roles. The screenplay, story, and dialogues were written by Bibin Mohan and Jai Vishnu, building the film around domestic humour and relationship-driven conflicts.

Even as Madhuvidhu continues its theatrical run, early reports regarding its non-theatrical rights have started drawing attention. According to the latest update shared by film industry tracker AB George, the OTT rights of the film have been sold to SonyLIV.

The same update also mentioned that the overseas rights were sold to Phars Films and that the film opened with a reported first weekend worldwide gross of ₹3.8 crore. However, an official announcement regarding the streaming platform and OTT release date is still awaited from the makers.

For now, Madhuvidhu remains in theatres, and viewers interested in watching the film can catch it on the big screen. Details about its streaming premiere are expected to be announced at a later stage once the theatrical run progresses further.
