Confirming the sad news of Kannan Pattambi's demise, his elder brother Major Ravi paid an emotional tribute on Facebook. In the FB post, Major Ravi informed his fans that the late actor's funeral will be held today (Monday, January 5) at 4 p.m. at his residence in Njanganthiri, Pattambi.

However, she once made headlines in connection with a sexual harassment case, as a victim, involving an ACP.

Back in 2016, Kannan Pattambi's wife had accused the then-Ernakulam city Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) P S Suresh of indecently touching her, as reported by Manorama.

"She revealed that Suresh tried to grab her and behaved indecently with her that night," the late actor had alleged.
