Athiradi Kerala Box Office Collection Prediction: The Malayalam action-comedy Athiradi, starring Tovino Thomas and Basil Joseph, is continuing its theatrical run with steady momentum during its extended opening weekend in Kerala. Directed by Arun Anirudhan, the film was released in theatres on May 14 after holding paid premiere screenings a day earlier.

According to the latest update shared by trade tracker AB George on X, Athiradi has reportedly grossed around ₹35 crore worldwide within its first three days in theatres. The tracker also suggested that the film was on course to enter the list of Mollywood's top opening weekends if the current trend continues through Sunday.

The update further indicated that the film was witnessing another steady day at the box office on Sunday, with Kerala collections reportedly heading towards the ₹20 crore mark for the four-day extended opening weekend. However, official box office figures from the makers are yet to be released.

While detailed territory-wise collections were not disclosed in the update, the film's performance during the weekend is being closely followed in Kerala and overseas markets. The strong weekend trend comes after the film recorded positive occupancy during its first three days in theatres.

Athiradi Cast, Plot And Weekend Box Office Outlook

Athiradi revolves around Samkutty, an engineering student who attempts to revive his college's popular "Arohan" festival. The situation takes an unexpected turn when the event's chief guest is kidnapped by Sreekuttan, a former goon who later turns into a musician.

Apart from Tovino Thomas and Basil Joseph, the cast includes Vineeth Sreenivasan, Riya Shibu and Zarin Shihab in key roles.

The film has been produced by Dr. Ananthu S and Basil Joseph, with Sameer Thahir and Tovino Thomas attached as co-producers. The screenplay was written by Paulson Skaria and Arun Anirudhan.

The technical crew includes cinematographer Samuel Henry, editor Chaman Chakko and music composer Vishnu Vijay. The film's action sequences were handled by Action Sandhosh and Phoenix Prabu.
