Prithviraj, the talented actor is all set to release his upcoming horror thriller, Ezra, on February 10. In a recent interview, Prithviraj opened up about the much-awaited movie, and his taken on the genre, horror comedy.

Interestingly, the actor stated that horror comedies no longer excite him. Even though he was a part of Vinayan's horror comedy Vellinakshathram, which was released during the initial stage of the actor's career.

Even though Prithviraj feels that the blockbuster movie contributed much to his career, he no longer wants to be the part of a horror comedy film. Instead, the actor wants to do genuine horror films.

Director Jay K approached Prithviraj with the script of Ezra in 2010. But the actor couldn't take up the project due to his busy schedule. He even told Jay, that there will be another genuine horror movie, by the time he gets his dates.

But no horror film which does complete justice to the genre was made in Malayalam in all these years, and that is why Prithviraj decided to do the movie. Prithviraj is confident that Ezra will be the most distinctive horror film ever made in Malayalam.
