Take Off Story

Take Off is a Malayalam thriller directed by Mahesh Narayanan & produced By Anto Joseph and Shebin Backer in association with Rajesh Pillai Films. The movie stars Parvathy, Fahadh Faasil and Kunchacko Boban in lead roles. Story Sameera and Shaheed are a married couple who migrates to Iran for the nursing job. About 46 nurses from Iran are abducted and kept in captivity by the Islamic State Militants, and the incident turns Sameera and Shaheed's lives upside down. Parvathy, who essays Sameera, is the star of the movie. The super-talented actress stuns with her extraordinary performance. She is simply brilliant as the struggling nurse and excels in emotional sequences. Fahadh Faasil, who appears on the silver screen after a gap of one year, amazes with his excellent performance. The strength of the well-packed script and the director's command over his craft is visible throughout the movie. The well-picturised was sequences are mind blowing. Despite the little slow pace at certain points, Take Off is a totally satisfying watch. Verdict: A truly emotional, appealing, and technically brilliant film which will stay at your heart even after the leaving the theatres. The best tribute to the late director Rajesh Pillai.
