Toxic Teaser Released: The official teaser of Toxic - A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been released online, giving viewers a closer look at the period gangster drama. The teaser went live at 9:35 AM on February 20, as announced earlier by the makers through their social media platforms.

The newly released teaser introduces the tone and visual style of the film, centring on Yash's character, Raya. While earlier promotional videos had revealed the title and character name, this marks the first full-fledged teaser that offers a better sense of the film's atmosphere. The visuals appear stylised and intense, aligning with the project's description as a period gangster drama. The official teaser can be watched below:

Toxic: Star Cast and Technical Team

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic features Yash in the lead role alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. The project is jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.

The title reveal was unveiled in December 2023. On January 8, 2025, coinciding with Yash's birthday, the makers released a special glimpse titled Toxic: Birthday Peek. A year later, on January 8, 2026, another video titled Toxic: Introducing Raya introduced Yash's character. With the teaser now out, the campaign moves into its next phase ahead of the theatrical release.

Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, the film appears to be positioned for a broader market beyond regional audiences. Cinematography is handled by Rajeev Ravi, while Ravi Basrur is composing the music. Editing is overseen by Ujwal Kulkarni, with production design by T. P. Abid. The action sequences are choreographed by J. J. Perry, Anbariv, Kecha Khamphakdee and Amrit Singh.

The technical team also includes sound designer Kunal Sharma, re-recording mixer Sreejesh Nair, and VFX studio DNEG. Post-production is being managed by The Post Co., with DI by Redefine.

Toxic - A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026. The teaser is now available across official digital platforms.
