Helmed by Geetu Mohandas, Yash's never-seen-before avatar in Toxic has already gotten a big thumbs-up from the audience. The teaser, which hints at the actor playing a double role in the film, has piqued everyone's interest.

Adding to the excitement, the makers recently dropped the first single (audio) from the film - Tabaahi - featuring Kiara Advani and Yash.

Boasting a star-studded female lead lineup including names like Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth, Toxic was originally scheduled to hit cinemas on March 19, 2025, clashing with Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar 2. But then, amid the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict, the makers have decided to postpone the release date. Now, according to their latest statement, Toxic will now hit cinemas worldwide on June 4, 2026.

A mid-day report suggests that the Yash-starrer is not skipping the UAE and is expected to move ahead with its planned release in the region.

An insider from Vox cinema (multiplex chain in UAE) informed the portal, "There was panic over the weekend, but there has been no directive to shut theatres. Toxic is releasing as planned, across 150 screens in the UAE."

Meanwhile, the makers have pushed the film's overall release to June, to ensure smoother distribution and better access to Middle Eastern audiences once the situation stabilizes.
