Toxic New Release Date: Yash-Starrer Film Postponed From March Release Amid Middle East Uncertainty
Toxic Release Postponed: The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, the upcoming period gangster film starring Yash, have announced a change in the film's theatrical release schedule. The project, which had initially been slated to arrive in cinemas worldwide on March 19, 2026, will now release later in the year.

In an official statement issued by the production houses, KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the team said the decision was taken in light of the ongoing geopolitical situation in parts of the Middle East. The producers noted that the prevailing uncertainty in the region could affect the film's planned reach across international markets, prompting them to reconsider the timing of its release.
According to the statement, the film will now release in theatres worldwide on June 4, 2026. The makers said the decision was taken after careful consideration in order to ensure that the film can reach the widest possible audience once it opens in cinemas.
Toxic Cast, Crew And Multilingual Release Plans Revealed
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic marks one of the most anticipated upcoming projects featuring Yash after the success of the KGF franchise. The film has been described by the makers as a "fairy tale for grown-ups" and is set in a period backdrop with elements of gangster drama.
The film features Yash in a dual role. The cast also includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles. The project is jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
Technically, the film brings together several notable names from the industry. Cinematography is handled by Rajeev Ravi, while the music department includes Ravi Basrur, Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami. Editing for the film has been carried out by Ujwal Kulkarni.
The action sequences are being overseen by an international team of stunt coordinators including J. J. Perry, Anbariv, Kecha Khamphakdee and Amrit Singh. Visual effects work is being executed by DNEG.
The makers have also revealed that the film has been shot in Kannada and English, with plans for a multilingual release in Indian languages alongside the English version. The production houses stated that the project was developed with the intention of appealing to audiences both in India and overseas.
While the postponement shifts the film away from its originally planned March window, the team has said they look forward to presenting the film to audiences in theatres worldwide on its revised release date in June.
