Krishna Rukku, a new Kannada fiction drama centred on love, revenge and destiny, is set to join Zee Kannada’s prime-time line-up. The channel, which holds the No.1 position in the Kannada GEC space, will launch the show on 9 March at 6:30 PM, with simultaneous streaming on Kannada ZEE5.

The series is produced by Dileep Raj and Srividya under the Dhriti Creations banner and is positioned as a key 2026 launch for the network. Krishna Rukku aims to blend strong character journeys with family themes, adding another daily option for viewers who follow relationship-based stories on Zee Kannada.

Mouna Guddemane leads the cast as Rukku, bringing focus to the character’s resilience and vulnerability. Akshay Nayak plays Krishna, whose relationship with Rukku anchors much of the storyline. Veteran filmmaker, producer, writer and actor S Narayan appears as Surya Prakash in a central role. Popular actress Suchitra returns to Kannada television, joined by singer Naveen Sajju and other artistes.
The channel sees Krishna Rukku as part of its effort to keep stories relatable for Kannada households.
