Arriving in her inbox while she was deep into filming Citadel Season 2 with Joe Russo, the script stopped her cold. She read it in one sitting, front to back, and by the time it was done, our Desi Girl already knew she had to be part of it. An action-adventure drama set in the 1800s, The Bluff gave her not just a lead role of rare emotional complexity but also a seat at the table as a full creative collaborator and producer. Ahead of the film's exclusive global premiere on Prime Video on February 25, Priyanka reveals why this one sits differently from her previous work.

Recalling how she came on board, Priyanka shared, "I was filming season two of Citadel with Joe Russo, and I've had an incredible relationship with Agbo through Citadel. And one day, Joe sent me this script in my inbox, and I couldn't stop reading it once I started. I finished it in one go, and it moved me on so many levels. I was really excited about participating and grateful to get the part. When I met Frank E. Flowers (director), I knew that this would be something special for me as an actor in my filmography. To be able to go into the 1800s and play the part of a woman with so many layers was a privilege. And coming on board as a producer and a true collaborating partner was amazing. Agbo and PrimeVideo always made me feel like a collaborator and so did Frank E Flowers. I had the best time filming this movie."
