Prime Video has released the first teaser for Spider-Noir, while also locking in its launch dates. The live-action Marvel series, led by Nicolas Cage in a first television headline role, begins on MGM+ on 25 May 2026. Viewers in India and more than 240 other regions get the show on Prime Video from 27 May 2026.

Spider-Noir will arrive on Prime Video as a full-season binge release, rather than weekly episodes. The series also offers two visual formats for fans. Viewers can choose an “Authentic Black & White” version, or switch to “True-Hue Full Color” for a different mood while watching every episode.

Spider-Noir story, Marvel roots and cast

Based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Noir shifts the superhero tale to 1930s New York. Nicolas Cage plays Ben Reilly, a weary private investigator facing tough times. After a painful personal loss, Ben Reilly must confront an earlier life. At the same time, Ben Reilly works as the city’s only costumed crime-fighter.

The core ensemble brings together award-winning and rising talent. The cast features Nicolas Cage, Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez and Abraham Popoola. Jack Huston joins the line-up, along with Brendan Gleeson. The guest list includes Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur and Joe Massingill, among others named for key episodes.

Spider-Noir is produced by Sony Pictures Television for exclusive release on MGM+ and Prime Video. In the United States, MGM+ will first air the show on its linear channel on 25 May 2026. Two days later, from 27 May 2026, Prime Video will stream the entire season at once worldwide, including across India.

Spider-Noir creative team and production credits

Emmy Award-winning director Harry Bradbeer directs the first two Spider-Noir episodes and also serves as executive producer on them. Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot act as co-showrunners and executive producers for the series. Uziel and Lightfoot developed Spider-Noir with Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal, who worked on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Lord and Miller executive produce Spider-Noir through their company Lord Miller, alongside Aditya Sood and Dan Shear. Amy Pascal is executive producer via Pascal Pictures. Nicolas Cage and Pavlina Hatoupis also hold executive producer credits. Together, the group shapes the tone of the 1930s superhero drama for both MGM+ and Prime Video audiences.

Spider-Noir combines a period detective drama setting with a superhero identity, built around Ben Reilly’s inner conflict.
