Uorfi Javed 3 AM Ordeal: Urfi Reveals Why She Went To Mumbai Police Station At 5 AM

Uorfi Javed often makes headlines over controversies and her bold and creative choices. However, this time, she is in the news for a worrying reason. After leaving netizens concerned with her 5:00 AM Instagram story from a Mumbai police station, the content creator-turned-actress has finally revealed what led her there.

In an interview with ETimes, Uorfi shared that some men from her building kept ringing her doorbell for about 10 minutes at around 3:30 AM in the morning and refused to leave even after her repeated requests. As claimed by Uorfi, she was with her sisters, Dolly and Asfi, when the incident happened.

"Someone kept ringing my doorbell for about 10 minutes. When I went out to check, a man was standing outside asking me to open the door and insisting on being let in, while another was standing at the corner. I told him to stop the nonsense and leave, but he refused to go. It was only when I warned him that I would call the police that he finally left. (sic)"

She further claimed that the men lived on the 13th floor of the same building and that they alleged they had links to a politician. "We called the police, but they misbehaved with us and with the police. They were rude and kept saying 'nikal nikal'. They denied everything, (sic)" she continued.

Later, when Uorfi and her sisters were leaving for the police station, they heard the men asking the security guard to delete the CCTV footage, saying that they were "related to a politician".

"When someone comes at 3 am and asks a girl to open the door and then refuses to leave, it is scary. Especially when girls are living alone, situations like this can be terrifying, (sic)" she concluded. As of now, she has submitted a written complaint against them.
