Tu Yaa Main First Review

In a post shared by actor turned critic Kuldeep Gadhvi, Tu Yaa Main "is a bold, intense, and thought-provoking survival romance-thriller that stands out for its performances, direction, and atmosphere". He emphasised, "Tu Yaa Main blends psychological tension with modern themes of digital fame, validation, rivalry and emotional vulnerability - making it strikingly relevant for today's audience. Shanaya Kapoor delivers her most confident and mature performance so far. She balances vulnerability and strength with surprising ease. Adarsh is phenomenal, once again proving why he's one of the finest actors of his generation".

Furthermore, Kuldeep Gadhvi gave Tu Yaa Main 4 stars and stated, "Bejoy Nambiar is in complete control here. His direction is stylish yet restrained, never letting form overpower substance. He masterfully builds tension using silence, pauses, and visual storytelling. Must-watch for fans of smart thrillers, psychological drama, and modern romance with a dark edge".

Meanwhile, talking about Tu Yaa Main, Shanaya told PTI, "Adarsh introduced me to this technique in Atul sir's workshop. At first when I heard it, I was like, 'I don't know if this is for me and if I can do it'. But I gave it a shot and it really helped. I watched a lot of videos of black panther, and that really helped me. I felt the way they moved was graceful, sensual, charming, and confident. My character Avani has that sensual side where you feel a little intimidated and she's just gazing, she's not looking at you in a way that you get scared, but there's something about her look".
