Tara and Veer's breakup news came out a couple of weeks after the viral AP Dhillon concert kiss incident that had caused a stir on the internet back then.

It was in December 2025 when lovebirds Tara Sutaria and Veer Pahariya attended AP Dhillon's Mumbai concert. The crowd went berserk when the actress joined the singer for his performance on 'Thodi Si Daaru'. Several videos from the live show went viral on the internet.

But one particular video, which became the hot topic of discussion, showed AP Dhillon and Tara Sutaria sharing a cozy hug, after which the singer-rapper planted a kiss on her cheek. What further fuelled the chatter was Veer Pahariya's expressions during their on-stage moments.

Later, Tara had reacted strongly to the reactions and called out "fake PR" tactics and misleading narratives, shutting down the backlash. In the comment section of her post, the Sky Force actor had cleared the air surrounding his expressions and clarified that his expressions were taken during another song and not Thodi Si Daaru.

Days after the viral AP Dhillon concert incident, reports came out claiming that Veer and Tara had "quietly" parted ways. Now, as reported by Free Press Journal, the AP Dhillon kiss incident was not the only reason why Veer-Tara parted ways.

The report allegedly claims that Tara was apparently a "dominating" person and wnted to change in and everything around Veer. "These two were good together in the short duration of their relationship. But it wasn't a relationship without conditions," an insider claimed to the portal.

"Tara reportedly wanted to change everything in and around Veer. She wanted photographs on his walls to disappear and she wanted people on his call-list to be reportedly edited out. She wanted him to decorate his home in a particular way. She allegedly wanted him to mould himself into something she envisioned. In short, she was labelled a kind of a control freak by certain common friends. Veer who was completely enamoured by the glamorous Tara was ready for change, even though his buddies warned him to stay true to his original self. But as luck would have it, the Toxic actress walked straight into Dhillon's arms at a concert and one so called kiss sealed this couple's fate," FPJ further added.
