Salim Khan Health News: Veteran Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan has been in the news lately over his health condition. Last month, the 90-year-old left everyone in deep concern after he was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital. The Sholay writer was rushed to the ICU after he complained of feeling giddy. Later, Dr. Jalil Parkar, who treated Salim Khan, revealed that the screenwriter had suffered a minor brain haemorrhage.

Recently, Salim Khan's close friend and his longtime screenwriting partner Javed Akhtar dropped a big update on Salman Khan's father's health.

Salman Khan Shifts Battle Of Galwan Shoot To Mehboob Studio Amid Father Salim Khan's Hospitalization

Salim Khan had undergone a small procedure for his brain haemorrhage following his hospitalization. His family members - children Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Arpita Khan Sharma, wives Salma Khan and Helen, grandchildren, among others - were constantly paying regular visits to the hospital.

According to India Today, superstar Salman Khan even shifted the song shoot for his upcoming movie Battle Of Galwan from Film City to the Mehboob Studio to stay closer to the hospital, ensuring that he can step away whenever he is required for his father's health.

"Salman didn't want the schedule to suffer, especially with a large crew involved. But being available for his father was equally important. Moving to Mehboob Studio made that balance possible," a source informed the portal.

Salim Khan Latest Health News: Javed Akhtar Drops Big Update

Following 90-year-old Salim Khan's hospitalization, several celebrities paid him a visit at the hospital incuding Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Javed Akhtar, Sanjay Dutt and Daisy Shah to name a few.

Recently, veteran lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar attended a book launch event in Delhi. Talking to HT, Akhtar revealed Khan's health has been improving. "Salim is fine now. He's okay and recovering. He's sitting on a chair and talking, and I mean, he has improved," he stated.

According to reports, Salim Khan is currently under close observation in the hospital while receiving necessary medical treatment.
