As the movie has hit the screens today there have been speculations about how it will fare in the overseas.
Raja Shivaji Overseas Review
As per a tweet going viral on the micro-blogging site Twitter (now X), a viewer based in UAE and Pakistan called Raja Shivaji an underwhelming film. Giving Raja Shivaji a rating of 2.5 stars, the user wrote, "A golden opportunity missed by Marathi Cinema to shine at Pan-India level".
Meanwhile, Riteish credited his wife Genelia Deshmukh, who is also the producer, for making the film as per a report in Money Control and stated, "As the producer, Genelia said, 'You just worry about the film that you want to make. It's my job to provide you with what you need for your vision.' If there ever came a point where we couldn't afford something, she would say, 'I will try and manage,' she never said 'no' to my vision. That is why we were able to achieve so much, even within our limited capacity. She wanted what is best for me and the film, and you need people like that".
