Elvish Yadav, His Father Face Death Threat, Rs 10 Crore Extortion Angle Points To Lawrence Bishnoi Gang
The digital creator Elvish Yadav has reported a death threat and Rs 10 crore extortion demand. Police have registered an FIR and are tracing an international number, while investigating alleged links to a gang and ongoing legal matters connected to prior cases.
Elvish Yadav Death Threat: Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner and digital creator Elvish Yadav has reportedly received a death threat and extortion demand of Rs 10 crore. Police have registered an FIR after Elvish complained that the threat messages also targeted Elvish's father and set a strict payment deadline.

The caller allegedly claimed links to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's group and demanded that Elvish arrange the money within two days. Investigators are now probing the origin of the messages and the identity of the sender named in the complaint.
Elvish Yadav death threat linked to alleged Lawrence Bishnoi aide
According to the police complaint, Elvish received a WhatsApp call on 5 May from an international number. No one reportedly spoke during that call. Soon after, a message arrived from the same number, issuing a threat and demanding Rs 10 crore from Elvish.
The sender allegedly introduced the sender as Randeep Malik and claimed to be a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi. The message allegedly warned that the money must reach the sender within two days, or both Elvish and Elvish's father would be killed. The same threatening text was reportedly sent to Elvish's father's phone.
Previous snake venom case involving Elvish Yadav
Following the threats, Elvish approached officials at Sector-56 Police Station and lodged a formal complaint. Based on this, an FIR was filed against an unidentified person under applicable legal sections, and further technical analysis of the international number is underway.
The threat episode comes weeks after the Supreme Court granted relief to Elvish Yadav in another matter. The case involved allegations of smuggling and using snake venom. The apex court recently set aside criminal proceedings related to that case, which had drawn wide attention on social media.
A bench of Justices MM Sundresh and N Kotiswar Singh reportedly found procedural flaws in how the complaint and FIR were filed in the snake venom case. The bench held that, due to these lapses, the proceedings against Elvish could not legally continue, offering significant relief to the digital creator.
Before approaching the Supreme Court, Elvish Yadav had challenged the snake venom case in the Allahabad High Court. In May last year, the High Court dismissed Elvish's plea, stating that the accusations needed detailed judicial scrutiny because multiple FIRs had been registered across different locations.
For reference, Elvish had been chargesheeted under several provisions of the Wildlife Protection Act, the Indian Penal Code, and the NDPS Act. The primary FIR in that matter was filed at Sector-49 Police Station in Noida's Gautam Buddh Nagar district, making the current threat complaint the second major case linked to Elvish within a year.
| Case | Location | Key laws mentioned |
|---|---|---|
| Snake venom allegations involving Elvish Yadav | Sector-49 Police Station, Gautam Buddh Nagar | Wildlife Protection Act, Indian Penal Code, NDPS Act |
| Death threat and extortion complaint by Elvish Yadav | Sector-56 Police Station | Relevant criminal sections (FIR against unidentified person) |
With the Supreme Court having closed the snake venom proceedings and a fresh FIR now registered over the alleged death threat, Elvish Yadav again finds Elvish at the centre of a serious police investigation. Authorities are examining the alleged gang link and tracing the international number as part of the inquiry.
