Akhanda 2 (Hindi) Release Update: Akhanda 2, sequel to the blockbuster Telugu film Akhanda, has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, who also directed the first Akhanda, and is produced by Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner. The sequel is mounted on a larger budget than the original and is described as the costliest film in the careers of both Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu, indicating expansive sets and heavy action sequences. Needless to say, Akhanda 2 has managed to create a massive buzz in the town.

For the uninitiated, Akhanda 2 features Nandamuri Balakrishna playing dual characters Akhanda Rudra Sikandar Ghora and Murali Krishna alog with Samyuktha Menon returning as the female lead, Aadhi Pinisetty as lead antagonist and Harshaali Malhotra making her debut in the Telugu cinema. Given the massive success of Akhanda and the stellar cast returning for the sequel, fans have been eagerly waiting for Akhanda 2 building on Akhanda's cult status while offering new set-pieces, intense confrontations and fresh dramatic conflicts on the big screen in multiple formats. Akhanda 2 (Hindi) Release Postponed Reason

It is reported that Akhanda 2, which was scheduled to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, has been postponed for release. Yes! Akhanda 2, which was also hitting the theatres in Hindi, will not be releasing on December 5, 2025. The news was confirmed by the makers in a tweet which read as, "With a heavy heart, we regret to inform you that #Akhanda2 will not be releasing as scheduled due to unavoidable circumstances. This is a painful moment for us, and we truly understand the disappointment it brings to every fan and movie lover awaiting the film. We are working tirelessly to resolve the matter at the earliest. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Akhanda 2 (Hindi) New Release Date

While the decision to postpone the release of Akhanda 2 (Hindi) has come as a major jolt for the fans, speculations are rife about when will the movie be finally hitting the theatres now. It is important to mention that the makers are yet to finalise a new release date for the film and it will be worth waiting to see if Akhanda 2 will make it to the theatres in 2025.

Meanwhile, Samyukta, during a conversation with 123Telugu, got candid about her role in Akhanda 2 and stated, "It will be extremely stylish. My role becomes very significant in a key sequence. I was told that I should perform a song, which made me nervous. I haven't done such a mass song earlier. I decided to give my best, but my knees didn't cooperate. Later, I underwent physiotherapy. We must entertain the audience. That's the final goal of an artist".
