O' Romeo opened in cinemas with modest footfalls on Friday, 13 February 2026, recording an overall occupancy of 14.86% across shows. Early data from multiplex chains suggests audiences warmed up gradually through the day, with the strongest turnout happening during the late-night screenings.

According to Sacnilk, the film’s first-day performance remained soft in the morning, with only 8.63% of seats reportedly filled. Attendance improved slightly for afternoon shows, which reached 12.17% occupancy, hinting at growing awareness as the film’s release day progressed.

The upward movement continued into the evening, when O' Romeo clocked 13.66% occupancy, reflecting a steady build rather than a sudden jump. Night shows brought the best response, touching 24.97% occupancy, and helped lift the film’s average figure for opening day to 14.86% across all tracked theatres.

Initial estimates suggested that O Romeo led the new releases, while Tu Yaa Main found a limited but clear audience on its first day.

According to Sacnilk, O Romeo recorded an estimated net collection of ₹ 8.25 crore on the opening day. These are not the final numbers, and the earnings might increase when the data is reported on Saturday.

Tu Yaa Main reported a softer opening in comparison. Early figures place the Day 1 net collection at ₹ 0.55 crore, which might be disappointing for the makers. The reviews for Tu Yaa Main have been amazing, and therefore, trade experts are expecting the romantic thriller to pick up pace during the weekends.

With O Romeo starting ahead and Tu Yaa Main opening on a smaller note, attention now shifts to their weekend holds.
