Bhooth Bangla Box Office Day 11: Akshay’s Film Sees 70% Dip On 2nd Monday; Fails To Beat Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

Bhooth Bangla Box Office Collection Day 11: Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi have collaborated for the first time in Bhooth Bangla and they have been creating waves with their fresh chemistry. Touted to be a horror comedy, Bhooth Bangla is a horror comedy and marks Akshay Kumar's reunion with Priyadarshan after 14 years. To note, Bhooth Bangla marks Priyadarshan's return to Bollywood horror comedy genre after 19 years and it has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Apart from Akshay and Wamiqa, Bhooth Bangla also featured Jisshu Sengupta, Paresh Rawal, Mithila Palkar, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani in the lead. To note, the movie added emotional weight as it marked Asrani's last onscreen appearance. On the other hand, Bhooth Bangla marks Akshay's first release of 2026 and also marks his return to horror comedy genre after 5 years. After opening to mixed reviews, Bhooth Bangla saw a decent start at the box office in India. While weekdays were a struggle the movie picked pace during the second weekend. However, the second Monday came with a massive dip in numbers.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla witnessed a dip of 70% in numbers on day 11 (second Monday). The movie minted Rs 3.65cr which took the overall collection to Rs 117.05cr

Bhooth Bangla Fails To Beat Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

As Bhooth Bangla has been witnessing comparisons with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, it failed to beat the latter which minted Rs 5cr on its second Monday of release.

Meanwhile, as Bhooth Bangla marks late actor Asrani's last appearance on the big screen, Akshay Kumar paid a tribute to the legendary actor and wrote, "Kabhi kabhi ek tasveer sirf yaadon ka tukda nahi hoti... ek poori journey ko samet leti hai. Yeh picture humari Bhooth Bangla ki shoot se hai...Asrani ji ke saath meri second last film. Total 12 films humne saath ki, aur har ek mein maine unse kuch naya seekha... it was like a masterclass every single time.
